Cher's Son Hospitalized, Spousal Support Fight Escalates
15 Apr
Summary
- Estranged wife claims Elijah Blue Allman is hospitalized.
- Spousal support payments have not been made since late last year.
- Trustee of Allman's estate is asked to make direct payments.

Marieangela King, estranged wife of Elijah Blue Allman, is requesting court intervention in their spousal support dispute. King stated in a declaration that Allman, son of Cher, is currently hospitalized and receiving medical care following his arrests in February and March. She claims he has not consistently paid court-ordered spousal support since late last year.
King has petitioned the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, to have Michael Lehman, the trustee of Allman's estate, make direct payments to her. She alleges Lehman controls trust distributions for Elijah and previously agreed to pay $24,000 in past-due support and attorney fees. King emphasizes the need for basic financial support to be honored during Allman's absence and inability to manage these matters himself.
The divorce filing from King occurred in April 2025, following an initial separation in April 2020. King is also seeking to enforce existing temporary spousal support and attorney-fee orders from the trust. While the trust did issue payments in November 2025, King asserts that Allman has not fully satisfied the court's ordered $6,500 monthly payments and she has not received support since that time.
