Summary

- The charity celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2025.

Cheltenham Festivals, an organization managing four major annual events, has announced significant plans to enhance community engagement. The charity, which reached 80,000 children last year, is committed to breaking down barriers to cultural participation.
To achieve this, new initiatives are set to launch. A writing for wellbeing project is scheduled for summer 2026. Furthermore, the Reading Teachers = Reading Pupils program will be extended to include children from less privileged backgrounds.
These efforts build on existing programs like the Literature Festival's book donation scheme. New guest curators will also be appointed for the Jazz Festival. To support these expanded activities, year-round fundraising efforts will be introduced.
