Charu Asopa Slams Media Over Old Rajeev Sen Remarks

Actress Charu Asopa has strongly condemned media outlets for re-publishing her past statements about ex-husband Rajeev Sen. Asopa declared that her personal life should not be a source of engagement or views for news portals. She stated that she has intentionally ceased discussing her private affairs, particularly as her daughter is growing up.

Asopa stressed her responsibility to safeguard her daughter's privacy and peace. She revealed that despite numerous calls from various portals, she has chosen not to respond. The actress finds it unfair and irresponsible to use statements from years-old interviews to generate stories and views.

She previously relocated from Mumbai to her hometown in Bikaner, Rajasthan, in 2024, citing the need to provide her daughter with a secure childhood. Asopa also noted that living costs in Mumbai were high, amounting to approximately Rs. 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh monthly, which was unsustainable for her. She also found it difficult to leave her daughter alone while working.

Asopa has warned that if the circulation of her old remarks continues, she will be forced to take appropriate action. She reiterated that her personal life is not content and pleaded for respect for her privacy and her daughter's privacy.
