- Charlie Sheen's memoir and Netflix documentary make headlines
- Sheen speaks candidly about his drug abuse and firing from Two and a Half Men
- Sheen returns to WME agency to build his business across film, TV, and brand partnerships

Over the past few months, veteran actor Charlie Sheen has experienced a remarkable resurgence in the public eye. In September 2025, Sheen's highly anticipated memoir, The Book of Sheen: A Memoir, debuted on the New York Times bestseller list and has remained in the Top 10 for three consecutive weeks. Additionally, a Netflix documentary about Sheen's life, titled aka Charlie Sheen, spent three weeks in the streamer's global Top 10 for English movies.
Both the memoir and documentary have generated significant media attention, with Sheen speaking candidly about his past struggles with drug abuse and the controversial circumstances surrounding his public firing from the hit CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men in 2011. Sheen, who was the highest-paid TV actor at the time, had been a client of WME for most of his run on the show before leaving the agency in 2009.
Now, in a move that signals Sheen's continued comeback, the actor has returned to WME, which aims to work with him on building out his business across film, TV, non-scripted, and brand partnerships. Sheen has also teamed up with his former agent, Todd Christopher, to launch a new television and film production company called STRAC Media.

Sheen's acting career has spanned four decades, with notable roles in films like Platoon, Wall Street, and Major League, as well as his Emmy-nominated run on Two and a Half Men and his stint as the star of ABC's Spin City, for which he won a Golden Globe. After his exit from Two and a Half Men, Sheen headlined the FX sitcom Anger Management, which produced 100 episodes. He then took a six-year break from acting before returning in 2023 with a recurring role on HBO Max's Bookie, co-created and executive produced by his former Two and a Half Men collaborator, Chuck Lorre.
