- Charli XCX's tour supports her new guitar-based album, 'Music Fashion Film'.
During her recent concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Charli XCX made a rare exception to her typical setlist, performing her 2014 breakthrough hit "Boom Clap." This performance occurred at the special request of guest Chappell Roan, who joined Charli onstage to sing the popular track, marking its first rendition since 2023.
The evening continued with more special appearances. PinkPantheress later emerged to perform her own song, "Stateside," with Charli. The concert was part of Charli XCX's North American arena tour supporting her latest album, "Music Fashion Film," released on July 24. This new album showcases a shift to a more guitar-based sound, diverging from the electro-dance beats of her previous record, "Brat."
