Earl Spencer & Wife's Desert Honeymoon Adventure
27 May
Summary
- Charles Spencer and Cat Jarman married on May 15 in Arizona.
- Professor Jarman has embraced horseback riding and archery.
- Jarman's MS diagnosis has not hindered her new adventurous pursuits.

Charles Spencer, the 9th Earl Spencer, and his new wife, Professor Cat Jarman, are enjoying their honeymoon in the Arizona desert, embracing new activities together. The couple, who wed on May 15, were seen horseback riding through the rugged landscape.
Professor Jarman, an expert in Viking history, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2016. Despite initial fears about her future mobility, she has discovered a passion for horseback riding and even archery on horseback. In November 2025, she shared her triumph over MS, hitting targets while trotting.
Their connection began when Spencer reviewed Jarman's 2021 bestseller. They collaborated on archaeological digs and launched a podcast. Their wedding ceremony took place in Arizona, with Sedona's Cathedral Rock as a backdrop, followed by a video of them riding off into their new life.
The wedding occurred nearly two years after Spencer announced his divorce from his fourth wife, Countess Karen Spencer. A lawsuit filed by Jarman against Countess Spencer regarding misuse of private information was settled in late 2025.
