Chapo Trap House Podcasters Launch Indie Film Venture

Chapo Trap House's Amber A'Lee Frost and producer Chris Wade established ColdFeet Productions, an endeavor to transition their podcast success into film and television. Frost relocated to Los Angeles in 2020, inspired by the need for a change and the burgeoning opportunities in production.
Their initial concept for an anthology comedy film, "Chunks," has finally materialized. This surreal collection of six shorts, featuring animation and live-action segments, premieres on July 19, 2026, via a special event on Patreon. The film offers critiques of late-stage capitalism through unique, off-kilter humor.
Beyond "Chunks," ColdFeet Productions has already co-produced "Eephus," which premiered at Cannes last year. They are also involved with "Raccoon," starring Tim Heidecker, and are developing "Justice Warriors" into an animated series with Sony.
The overarching mission of ColdFeet Productions is to cultivate a self-sustaining environment that empowers leftist creators. Frost and Wade intend to support individual projects with startup capital and broadcast rights, creating a model for independent digital content creation.
