Chantelle Houghton recalls rude Madeley insult

Chantelle Houghton, who rose to fame on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, has revealed details of negative encounters with television personalities. She recounted that Richard Madeley made her feel 'small' during an appearance on a television show, stating that the public's interest in her would be fleeting.

Houghton also mentioned that Ruby Wax had a similar dismissive attitude, predicting a short 15-minute fame span. These experiences contrasted with positive interactions she had with celebrities such as Jamie Oliver and Dermot O'Leary.

Oliver, in particular, offered support and invited her to dine with his wife, Jools, discussing coping with sudden fame. O'Leary was also described as a 'nice man' by Houghton.

In separate comments, Houghton, now 42, discussed her substantial five-stone weight loss, achieved by eliminating sugar and processed foods from her diet. She emphasized that this transformation was accomplished without gym visits.
