Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk has publicly stated her regret over winning a Juno Award in 2000, believing the honor should have gone to Joni Mitchell. Kreviazuk, who was nominated for two awards that year, felt it was "incorrect" to have won over Mitchell. Kreviazuk's album "Colour Moving and Still" won for Best Pop/Adult Album, and she also won Best Female Artist. She fondly recalled a dinner with Mitchell, describing her as a "bubbly, happy, cool lady" who was very down to earth.
Kreviazuk, now 50, also discussed her recently released book, "I'm Going to Break Your Heart: A Rock N Roll Love Story." Co-written with her husband Raine Maida, frontman of Our Lady Peace, the book chronicles their nearly 27-year marriage through alternating perspectives. The book aims to serve as a guide for couples and their three sons. Kreviazuk's latest album, "Rockstar Joy," is also currently available.
