The romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, featuring Lakshya and Ananya Panday, has successfully completed its censor screening for a May 22 release. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has issued the film a U/A 16+ rating.
During the certification process, the filmmakers were required to make specific modifications. Approximately 96 seconds of kissing sequences were removed, including a 10-second kiss that was replaced with different visuals. Additionally, the board mandated the submission of consent letters for all child artists featured in the movie.
The film, directed by Vivek Soni and backed by Dharma Productions, has a total runtime of 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 36 seconds. Advance ticket sales for Chand Mera Dil are scheduled to commence on Monday, May 18.
