Chad Michael Murray Lights Up Today Show With Candles

Actor Chad Michael Murray recently visited the Today show, presenting the hosts with a unique gift from his new venture: Coast to Coast by Chad Michael Murray candles. This visit continued a tradition of gift-exchanges between the actor and the show's anchors.

Murray shared that the candles are inspired by personal memories and locations, specifically referencing "California Summer" as a nod to his character on "Sullivan's Crossing." He noted that scents can transport individuals, recalling how the smell of azaleas in Wilmington, North Carolina, reminds him of his time filming "One Tree Hill." The candle scents aim to evoke similar nostalgic feelings, connecting to his experiences shooting "Sullivan's Crossing" in Nova Scotia.

During the segment, Murray engaged in a lighthearted discussion about candle-making with fellow entrepreneur Craig Melvin, whose company Melvin Made also donates proceeds to cancer research. The conversation briefly touched upon soy wax blends before Al Roker humorously steered them back to the live broadcast.
