Weeks after the devastating loss of their daughter Fiona on September 29, actor Chad Lowe and his wife, Fiona Painter, have sold their family home. The couple listed their Spanish-style residence in Los Angeles' Mar Vista neighborhood on October 16, and it has since received an accepted offer for $3.24 million. This sale occurred just weeks after Fiona's passing.
The 3,239-square-foot home, purchased for $3.15 million in March 2025 after a previous home was lost in LA fires, features four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The family held a private celebration of life for Fiona in October, remembering her as "a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance."
The Los Angeles medical examiner's office confirmed on October 1 that Fiona died by suicide. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital on Tuesday, September 29. The family has also shared that their daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10, are processing their grief, with Mabel posting tributes to her younger sister on social media.
