Celebrity MasterChef New Season: Una Healy & Melvin Odoom Join?

Reports suggest Una Healy and Melvin Odoom will participate in the next season of Celebrity MasterChef. This series will be the first with new hosts Grace Dent and Anna Haugh, who were announced in September after the dismissals of former presenters John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

Torode departed in July 2025 after allegations of using a derogatory racist slur in 2018. He claimed to have learned of his non-renewal through media reports. The BBC stated an investigation substantiated the claim of an offensive racist term being used, leading to his contract not being renewed.

Gregg Wallace was dismissed following an external investigation that upheld 45 complaints about his behavior, including inappropriate sexual language, culturally insensitive comments, and unwelcome physical contact. He issued an apology for any distress caused, though he later defended himself by calling the complaints a 'pile on' and questioning the investigation's process.

Healy, known for her culinary interests in Irish cuisine, and Odoom, described as a novice but capable in the kitchen, are expected to join a cast of other celebrities aiming to impress the new judges.
