Catherine Tresa Joins Mythical 'Karikaala'

Catherine Tresa is set to grace the mythical world of 'Karikaala,' an upcoming socio-fantasy film starring Sundeep Kishan and helmed by director Ugandhar Muni. The makers officially announced Tresa's inclusion via X, welcoming her to the project. This multilingual venture is slated for a two-part theatrical release in 2027, with both installments expected in the summer and fall of that year.

The film is being positioned as a pan-India release, with plans to release versions in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. While Catherine Tresa's role remains under wraps, the anticipation builds following the earlier unveiling of Sundeep Kishan's warrior-like first-look, which offered a glimpse into the film's fantastical setting. Sricharan Pakala is composing the music for this ambitious project, which explores a unique blend of mythology and cinematic scale.
