Michael O'Hara, brother of the acclaimed actress Catherine O'Hara, has opened up about her final days and his dreams of her. He shared that in the time leading up to her death, his sister "wasn't talking much" and preferred not to speak on the phone.

The cause was a pulmonary embolism, with rectal cancer as an underlying factor. Her final performance in "The Studio" earned her a posthumous award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2026 Actor Awards.
