The nominees for Producer of the Year hail from the Czech Republic, France, Spain, and Luxembourg, showcasing a range of production expertise. In the Investor/Distributor category, French companies Folivari International and Mediawan Kids & Family are nominated alongside Germany's Studio 100 International. The Broadcaster category features public-service broadcasters BBC (UK), SVT (Sweden), and Südwestrundfunk (Germany).

Notably, 2026 introduces the Ecoprod-Cartoon Tribute, acknowledging companies advancing sustainability in animation. Nominees for this inaugural award include French companies Gao Shan Pictures and La Cabane Productions, and Ireland's Cartoon Saloon. Cartoon Forum 2026 is scheduled to take place in Toulouse from September 14-17.
