Carly Rae Jepsen is set to release her eighth studio album, titled "Day and Night," on September 18th. This extensive project is a double album, comprising 24 tracks divided equally between two LPs. Collaborators like Tavish Crowe and her husband Cole M.G.N. contributed to its creation.
The "Day" portion of the album is characterized by organic sounds, live instrumentation, and hints of 1970s psychedelic pop. In contrast, "Night" delves into an exploratory and intense realm of sleek, synth-driven dance pop.
The first single from the album, "On Wires," is scheduled for release on Friday, June 26. Jepsen began teasing new music earlier this month with website instrumentals and social media postcards.
This new release follows her 2022 album "The Loneliest Time" and its 2023 B-sides collection, "The Loveliest Time." Jepsen also recently co-wrote the stage musical adaptation of "10 Things I Hate About You."
Following "Day and Night's" release, Jepsen will headline New York City's All Things Go Festival on September 27, marking her first live performance of 2026.
