Country music star Carly Pearce delivered a show-stopping performance of the National Anthem before Game 3 of the World Series on October 27, 2026. The Kentucky-born, Grammy-winning singer's rendition went viral, surprising many with its powerful vocals and pitch-perfect delivery.
Pearce, known for her bluegrass roots and Dollywood performance background, showcased her vocal prowess. While a celebrated artist in Nashville with a Number One hit and a role on The Voice, her vocal talents are often underappreciated beyond Music Row. Her recent album, 'Honest Woman,' released in 2026, explores themes of success, midlife, and faith, sparking discussions with its inclusive lyrics.
Earlier in 2026, Pearce discussed the backlash to her song 'Church Girl,' explaining its message of inclusivity for those questioning their identity or experiencing trauma. Her successful World Series performance is expected to introduce her exceptional vocals and storytelling to a wider audience, a significant achievement in an era where female representation in country music can be limited.
