- The blogger made disparaging remarks about Cardi B's family.

Cardi B is seeking more than $110,000 in legal fees from gossip blogger Tasha K. This demand stems from Tasha K's alleged violation of a bankruptcy settlement agreement. The settlement was established to facilitate the payment of a $4 million defamation judgment against the blogger.
Last month, a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge found Tasha K in contempt for breaching the agreement. The judge ruled that the blogger had made disparaging remarks about Cardi B's estranged husband, Offset, and NFL player Stefon Diggs. As a result, Tasha K was ordered to cover Cardi B's legal expenses.
Cardi B's legal team submitted a filing detailing $110,115 in fees. These costs were incurred by two law firms for over 100 hours of work monitoring Tasha K's social media and enforcing the settlement. Tasha K has two weeks to respond to the request before a final ruling.
In 2023, Tasha K declared bankruptcy after a federal jury awarded Cardi B millions for defamatory statements. The blogger had claimed inability to pay, but Cardi B successfully argued to keep the debt active. A subsequent payment plan was approved, requiring Tasha K to pay $1.2 million over five years while refraining from public comments about Cardi B.
The peace was broken in April when Cardi B's attorneys alleged Tasha K's willful violations of the non-disparagement clause. The situation escalated further in May when Cardi B filed a new lawsuit against Tasha K's husband, Cheickna Kebe, for allegedly scheming to hide assets from collection.
