Cardi B & Queen Latifah to Light Up 2026 BET Awards!

The 2026 BET Awards will feature performances by Cardi B and Queen Latifah, according to network officials. The ceremony is scheduled for June 28th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Other announced performers include Common, Doechii, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Tems, and T.I., with a special reunion performance teased by French Montana and Max B. BET executive Connie Orlando praised the event as a celebration of artists and cultural moments, highlighting an "extraordinary mix of legends, superstars, and emerging talent." Cardi B leads nominations with six, followed by Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist with five each. Adding to the accolades, Lauryn Hill will receive the Living Legend Icon Award, and Teyana Taylor will be recognized as Icon of the Year. Actor-comedian Dr.uski is set to host the festivities.
