Camila Perez Returns for Power: Origins

Camila Perez is reprising her role as Young Angie Valdes in the upcoming Starz prequel series, Power: Origins. She previously appeared as the character in one episode of the original Power series, where Lela Loren portrayed the adult Angie, a federal prosecutor and Ghost's childhood sweetheart.

Power: Origins, created by Sascha Penn, promises to explore the "Power" Universe in fresh ways by detailing the early lives of Ghost, Tommy, and Kanan. These ambitious young men are depicted as determined entrepreneurs aiming to make their mark on New York City.

The series is described as a lively exploration of a new era within the franchise, highlighting the audacity of young men rising to power. Production for Season 1 has concluded, with filming having taken place in New York and New Jersey.

This marks the fourth spinoff within the "Power" Universe, following Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force. Starz has also greenlit a fifth spinoff, Power: Legacy. The series is executive produced by Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, and Mark Canton.
