Call My Agent! Movie Filming on Cannes Croisette

The hit French series "Call My Agent!" is making a comeback with a feature film, with additional footage being shot on the Croisette at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie picks up five years after the series finale, focusing on agent-turned-filmmaker Andréa Martel as she navigates a troubled production. The original cast, including Camille Cottin, Fanny Sidney, and Grégory Montel, has reunited for the project.

Creator Fanny Herrero and co-writer Lison Daniel aimed to organically bring the characters back together, expanding the narrative beyond their usual Parisian setting to explore filmmaking itself. Director Émilie Noblet noted the film benefits from a larger budget and time, allowing for a more sophisticated execution while retaining the series' signature rhythm.

"Call My Agent The Movie" will feature high-profile cameos from Hollywood stars George Clooney and Eva Longoria, alongside French talent. Securing Clooney involved direct collaboration with his friend, producer Pierre-Antoine Capton. Longoria's cameo stemmed from a prior discussion about adapting the series for Latin America, highlighting her own production interests.

Both A-list actors had specific constraints for their appearances, requiring focused scenes filmed within a single day. Clooney was particularly engaged, collaborating with writers on his scene. The film's success and the cast's continued careers leave the door open for potential future installments.
