The Black Women Film Network (BWFN) is hosting its annual summit in Atlanta on Saturday, March 21, at the Loudermilk Center. The event will honor notable figures for their significant contributions.
S. Epatha Merkerson will be recognized with the On Her Shoulders Preservation award for her extensive career, including her iconic role on "Law & Order" and her acclaimed performance in "Lackawanna Blues." Danielle Brooks is set to receive the AcceleratHER Award, acknowledging her impactful performances across television, film, and Broadway.
Additional honorees include Sheila Ducksworth (ProducHER Award), Felicia Pride (StorytellHER Award), Angela Cannon (PowerbrokHER Award), and Vanzil Burke (AmpliphiHER Award).
