Burger King Dives into SpongeBob SquarePants Collaboration

In a surprising move, Burger King has announced a collaboration with the popular Nickelodeon cartoon series, SpongeBob SquarePants. The fast-food chain confirmed that a special SpongeBob-themed menu will debut on December 2, just a few weeks before the release of the new SpongeBob movie, "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants."

The menu is set to feature a range of items inspired by the iconic cartoon, including the Krabby Whopper, a Whopper with a yellow square bun akin to the Krabby Patties from the show. Other menu items will include Mr. Krabs' Cheesy Bacon Tots, Patrick's Star-berry Shortcake Pie, and a Pirates Frozen Pineapple Float. The collaboration will also include a kids' meal with SpongeBob toys and special packaging.

This is not the first time the SpongeBob franchise has partnered with a major fast-food chain. In 2024, Wendy's created a limited-edition menu inspired by the cartoon's 25th anniversary, featuring items like the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty and Krabby Patty Kollab Burger.
