Bryce Howard Remembers Sam Neill's Kindness

Bryce Dallas Howard has shared a heartfelt tribute to her late Jurassic World Dominion co-star, Sam Neill. She described Neill, who passed away at 78, as a person who was "exactly who you hoped he'd be: funny, warm, wickedly self-deprecating, endlessly kind."

Howard recounted their shared experience filming the movie during the pandemic, expressing gratitude for having Neill as a companion during that challenging time. She shared a video clip of Neill, alongside original Jurassic Park actors Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, singing "Blackbird" by The Beatles.

She further remembered Neill for his "immense passion for life," his generosity with "wine, stories, and time," and his magnetic presence. Howard noted his deep love for his home, family, pets, and farm, emphasizing his role as a friend to everyone.

Laura Dern, who played Neill's love interest in the franchise, called him her "beloved lifetime friend," highlighting his loyalty and wit. Jeff Goldblum also posted a tribute. Director Steven Spielberg remembered Neill as "exceptionally collaborative," recalling his fatherly nature off-screen, contrary to his character's initial demeanor.
