The Visual Effects Society (VES) will present its Lifetime Achievement Award to acclaimed producer Jerry Bruckheimer at the 2026 VES Awards. This honor recognizes Bruckheimer's extensive career and significant contributions to the visual effects industry, evident in his work on films such as the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and Top Gun: Maverick.
Joining Bruckheimer in receiving top honors is Sir Richard Taylor, co-founder of Wētā Workshop. Taylor will be presented with the VES Visionary Award for his groundbreaking work and consistent application of visual effects artistry. His company, Wētā Workshop, has been instrumental in the creation of visual effects for over 160 films, including The Lord of the Rings and Avatar trilogies.
