As of October 26th, 2025, a new biopic titled "Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere" has hit theaters, offering a glimpse into the upbringing of legendary musician Bruce Springsteen. The film not only stars Jeremy Allen White as the young Bruce, but also features the important roles played by his two sisters, Virginia and Pamela.
Virginia, who is a year younger than Bruce, is portrayed by child actress Arabella Olivia Clark in the film. Her real-life story of getting pregnant as a high school senior in the 1970s recession inspired Springsteen's hit song "The River." Virginia initially didn't like the song, but now considers it her favorite. She and her husband, Mickey Shave, went on to have three children together.
Pamela, the youngest Springsteen sibling, has also been a supportive presence in Bruce's life. She has worked as a photographer, capturing images for several of her brother's singles and album covers, including the 1992 release "Lucky Town." Pamela has also photographed other musicians like Willie Nelson and Keith Richards.
Both sisters have maintained close relationships with Bruce, especially after the passing of their mother, Adele, in January 2024 at the age of 98. The Springsteen siblings have continued to honor their mother's memory and support each other through life's ups and downs.
