The play, featuring live readings of short stories with a rotating cast including Ike Barinholtz and Jon Stewart, achieved 100 percent capacity in its first two performances, drawing in $409,041 and signaling a potentially lucrative run.

Meanwhile, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" continues its reign atop the box office, slightly increasing its total earnings. The show's revival in grosses is largely attributed to the November addition of Tom Felton, who reprises his role from the film series. Despite high operating costs, the boosted ticket sales are expected to bolster financial reserves.

Other established hits like "Hamilton" and "Wicked" also posted strong figures, grossing $2.8 million and $2.76 million respectively. "The Lion King" and "Mamma Mia" rounded out the top earners. "Chess" experienced a slight dip in grosses due to a lead's absence, though attendance remained high.
