A GoFundMe campaign established by a college friend raised over $300,000 to support his medical treatments, with continued support requested for his husband and their young son, Maverick.
Born in 1979, Hanna-Shuford had a passion for musicals from a young age, leading to a career on stage and screen, including roles in "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "Law & Order: SVU." He also embraced life coaching and a YouTube channel to inspire aspiring actors, demonstrating a commitment to sharing his journey.
