In his upcoming memoir, Kevin Federline, 47, is shedding light on a tumultuous incident that rocked his marriage to Britney Spears, 43, during their 2004-2007 union. Federline claims that one day in the studio, a friend dropped off an ounce of weed, which Federline says was a relatively common occurrence. However, this time, Spears allegedly became "furious" and fired the couple's entire security team.
Federline then went to their bedroom to calm down, but Spears followed, yelling at him while holding their son Sean Preston, now 20. Federline alleges that Spears then "slapped" him "right in the face" with their son in her arms. The former dancer writes that after this incident, he started "pulling back" from the situation and felt like a stranger in his own home, as "something broke that day" and they "were never the same after."
Spears has not directly addressed the alleged slapping incident in her own 2023 memoir, but she did express her dislike for weed, which she said she often smelled in Federline's studio. In response to Federline's memoir, Spears has accused him of "constantly gaslighting" her and defended her relationship with her sons, whom she says she has "almost begged" to be a part of her life.
