Wei Reveals Bridgerton Audition Twist

Hong Kong actress Isabella Wei, known for her role as Posy Li in the popular Netflix series "Bridgerton," has revealed she initially auditioned for a different part. Wei shared that she, along with others, first tried out for the role of Sophie Baek. However, upon reading the script for Posy, Wei found the character to be funny, sweet, and whimsical, ultimately desiring to play her and feeling grateful to have been cast.

Wei also spoke about her experience joining the high-profile production. She admitted to having little expectation when she first booked the role, but found that the nerves dissipated once filming began and friendships formed. While anticipating the show's release, she felt nervous about potential audience reactions. However, seeing the positive responses has since alleviated her concerns, making it one of her favorite seasons.
