Bridgerton Prequel: Lady Violet's Love Story Unveiled

Netflix is expanding the "Bridgerton" universe with a new limited series prequel centered on the family matriarch, Lady Violet.

The upcoming series, currently untitled, will delve into Lady Violet's formative years. It promises to tell the story of her early life and the development of her romance with Viscount Edmund Bridgerton.

Shonda Rhimes and Nicholas Nardini are attached as writers, executive producers, and co-showrunners for this project. Betsy Beers and Tom Verica will also serve as executive producers, with Verica directing.

This announcement follows the successful release of "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story," another prequel exploring a beloved character's early life and romantic history.
