Julia Quinn on Bridgerton's Future & Casting

Bridgerton author Julia Quinn has broken her silence on concerns regarding potential recasting of key characters in future seasons of the hit Netflix series. Quinn expressed uncertainty about specific plot changes but shared her enthusiasm for Eloise Bridgerton's romance with Phillip Crane, a storyline she hopes will be faithfully adapted.

Quinn discussed the possibility of actors playing younger siblings Hyacinth and Gregory being replaced as the series progresses. Given that these characters are now adults, she anticipates that new actors will likely portray them when their storylines take center stage, a common occurrence with long-running shows.

Beyond the series, Quinn is launching JQ Editions, a venture to recommend historical romance novels to readers seeking content similar to Bridgerton. This initiative will feature six recommended books annually, curated by Quinn herself.

Additionally, Quinn has partnered with Spotify to promote its new Page Match feature, which allows seamless transitions between physical books and audiobooks on the platform, enhancing the reading and listening experience for fans.
