Bridesmaids, celebrated as a top film of the 2010s, nearly featured a wild scene set in Las Vegas that did not make the final cut. The original script detailed the bridal party's arrival in Sin City for Lillian's bachelorette party, deviating from the released version where Annie's actions prevented their flight.

This extended Vegas sequence, described as unhinged, reportedly involved the group encountering various misadventures, including Annie sustaining a black eye. Co-screenwriter Annie Mumolo suggested that the decision to cut the Vegas portion was influenced by the release of other prominent Las Vegas-themed comedies at the time, such as The Hangover.
