Brenda Song's sons cry when she dresses up

Brenda Song shared an endearing reason why her sons, Dakota and Carson, react negatively to her glamorous red-carpet appearances. The actress explained that her children, aged five and under, cry when they see her dressed up because they do not want her to leave them. This sentiment was particularly evident when Song and partner Macaulay Culkin attended the "Running Point" season 2 premiere on April 15.

Song, who is often in pajamas when not working, found it difficult to leave her sons for the event. She and Culkin, who welcomed their second son in December 2022, coordinated their outfits for the premiere. Song wore a sequined Dolce & Gabbana gown, while Culkin opted for a navy blue suit.

In a separate incident, Song recounted a challenging travel experience involving Alaska Airlines. The airline reportedly split up her family, assigning her then 3- and 4-year-old sons seats rows behind them, near strangers. Although the situation was resolved, Song found the prospect of her young children sitting alone unsettling.
