Brandy & Daughter Reunite on Screen for Lifetime Sequel

Brandy and her daughter Sy'rai Smith are set to star together again in the upcoming Lifetime movie, "Christmas Everyday Again." This film serves as a sequel to the 2025 holiday movie "Christmas Everyday" and is slated for release later in 2026 as part of Lifetime's "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" programming.

The new movie centers on Fancy Ballantine, a Chicago fashion designer portrayed by Brandy. Fancy is preparing for her biggest career season and her dream Christmas wedding while working to save her boutique. Her mother, Evelyn, and sister, Belle, played by Sy'rai Smith, provide support. However, mounting business challenges and the return of an ex-lover threaten Fancy's plans and her relationship.

Brandy expressed excitement about reprising her role as Fancy, calling the first film a "special experience." Sy'rai Smith previously shared how Brandy's presence on the set of the original movie made the role easier. The sequel also features returning cast members Kajuana S. Marie, Journey Carter, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, and Lamman Rucker, with Gregory Alan Williams joining as Earl. "Christmas Everyday Again" will premiere on Lifetime later this year.
