On November 10, 2025, Christian music star Brandon Lake was honored at the ASCAP Nashville Songwriters Celebration. The 35-year-old singer-songwriter was named ASCAP's Christian music songwriter of the year, marking his second time receiving the prestigious award after previously winning in 2023.
Lake's co-written song "Praise," recorded by Elevation Worship featuring Lake, Chris Brown, and Chandler Moore, was also named the ASCAP Christian music song of the year. The track spent 31 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart and dominated Christian radio.
In addition to his ASCAP accolades, Lake has enjoyed tremendous success in the past year. He has received five Grammy Awards and 15 GMA Dove Awards, and is nominated for musical event of the year at the upcoming CMA Awards for his collaboration with Jelly Roll on "Hard Fought Hallelujah."
