Brandi Glanville, known for her role in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has revealed a new development in her ongoing two-year health ordeal, which she believes is caused by a facial parasite. As of January 27, 2026, Glanville has been dealing with facial disfigurement since July 2023. She recently shared on Instagram that she underwent a cosmetic procedure performed by Dr. Nicholas Nikolov, expressing gratitude for his assistance in preparing for the Sundance Film Festival and a movie event. This marks a continuation of her efforts to combat the condition. In December 2024, Glanville had previously disclosed to Entertainment Tonight that she had invested over $70,000 in treatments for what she described as a facial "parasite." She theorized that the issue originated from something she consumed while filming in Morocco in 2023. Glanville has documented her journey with various medical professionals, including infectious diseases specialist Dr. Michael R. Scoma, M.D., and dental surgeons Dr. Homayoon Bayrami and Beverly Hills Dental Arts, as she sought to understand and treat her condition. Even "Botched" star Dr. Terry Dubrow weighed in, suggesting the possibility of a foreign body or a difficult-to-treat microorganism or fungus, warning of potential scarring and nodules if left untreated. Despite the extensive consultations and treatments, Glanville has not publicly announced a definitive diagnosis, though she indicated progress in regaining her smile.
