Summary

- Restored Odeon, a 3,800-seater music and events hub.
- Building dates back to 1930, formerly a cinema.
The Bradford Live venue, a £50 million music and events space, has received a nomination in the Great Renovation category of the new Great British Theatres Awards. This inaugural ceremony is set to take place in London on November 2. The modern venue was constructed within the original structure of the city's old Odeon cinema, which ceased operations as a cinema 25 years prior to the venue's opening.
The restoration of the historic Art Deco building, originally opened in 1930, was a significant public investment. The 3,800-seater venue is now managed by Trafalgar Entertainment under a lease agreement with the council, involving profit sharing. Previously, the Odeon building hosted iconic performers such as The Beatles and Tom Jones, adding to its rich cultural legacy.
