In the movie, Pitt portrays a former Army Special Forces soldier whose plane crashes in the remote Alaskan wilderness. He must rely on his survival skills and a protective service dog named Odin to navigate treacherous terrain, confront dangerous wildlife, and make his way back to civilization.
The film reunites Pitt and Ayer, who previously collaborated on the 2014 World War II epic 'Fury.' 'Heart of the Beast' marks a significant star presence at this year's San Sebastián festival, which runs from September 18-26.
