Boygenius Lands Triumphantly With New EP

Boygenius, the acclaimed trio of Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus, has released a new four-song companion EP titled 'The Rest.' This release arrives six months after their full-length debut, 'The Record,' and is imbued with a sense of triumph from their recent imperial year. The band has achieved significant success, landing an album in Billboard's Top 10 and selling out Madison Square Garden.

The songs on 'The Rest' are brand new, produced with returning collaborators. They revisit old themes with renewed spirits, such as Phoebe Bridgers' lunar voyage and Julien Baker's reinterpretation of a black hole as a symbol of unexpected potential rather than domestic unrest. The EP's title suggests both finality and respite as the band's current transcendent period concludes.
