The stars of the beloved '90s sitcom "Boy Meets World"—Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong—revealed they never perceived themselves as "cool" during the show's original run. This surprising admission comes as they prepare to debut their new documentary, "Doc Meets World," at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, June 5.
Reflecting on their experiences, the actors shared how fan interactions, particularly through convention events and their podcast, have profoundly shaped their understanding of the show's impact. These personal connections have highlighted how "Boy Meets World" served as a significant influence and source of comfort for many viewers during their formative years.
Friedle noted that hearing from guests on their podcast, who expressed nervousness about appearing on their show, offered a new perspective on the human side of celebrity. Strong added that the feedback from fans and guests has led to a greater acceptance of himself and his career, allowing him to truly appreciate the opportunities "Boy Meets World" provided.
