On Sunday, the three-day Bong Fest Season 3 in Lucknow came to a close, drawing large crowds eager to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of Bengal. Organized by the Bengali Welfare Society at the Badshahnagar Railway Institute ground, the festival offered visitors a chance to indulge in the region's rich cultural heritage.
The highlight of the event was the Bou Bazaar, a dedicated section featuring a wide array of Bengali handicrafts, jewelry, snacks, pickles, and artwork. Visitors explored the stalls, marveling at the intricate tant sarees, classic Bengali sweets like sondesh and bhapa doi, and popular dishes such as Bhetki fish fry, chingri pulao, golbari-style mutton, koraishutir kochuri, and fish cutlets.
