Reddit Uncovers Unseen Knee Pads in Iconic Bond Scene

In a surprising turn, a popular discussion on Reddit has shifted focus from Daniel Craig's iconic portrayal of James Bond in *Casino Royale* to an easily overlooked detail: knee pads. The scene, set in Lake Como, Italy, shows Bond assassinating Mr. White. While this moment marked Bond's evolution into a skilled agent, Reddit users are captivated by the knee pads visible on White's legs.

These pads, noticed by eagle-eyed viewers, were likely not for comfort but served a practical purpose. Film buffs suggest they concealed a "squib" charge, a device used to simulate bullet impacts. This behind-the-scenes element has sparked considerable online chatter, with some fans lamenting that the detail now overshadows a favorite movie scene.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time knee pads have been associated with the Bond franchise. Actress Ana de Armas has spoken about wearing knee pads herself while filming *No Time to Die*. This recurring detail offers a fascinating glimpse into the practicalities of modern spy filmmaking.
