Dhurandhar: The Revenge set a high bar, earning Rs 1813 crore globally, followed by Border 2's Rs 450 crore-plus performance and Bhooth Bangla's Rs 269 crore. Industry experts note the crucial nature of these months, especially given only three major hits have been recorded so far this year.
The summer lineup also includes significant Hollywood competition. Tentpole releases like Toy Story 5, Evil Dead: Burn, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day are set to draw audiences. Historically, major Hollywood films, even in their dubbed versions, have performed exceptionally well in India, posing a challenge to local productions.
Anticipated Bollywood films include Cocktail 2, Welcome To The Jungle, Dhamaal 4, and Batwara 1947, each with unique selling points.
