Bollywood Star Triptii Dimri Revisits Haunting 'Bulbbul' Role

In October 2025, Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri took a trip down memory lane as she rewatched her acclaimed 2020 series "Bulbbul". The actress, who enchanted audiences with her hauntingly beautiful performance in the period horror-mystery, shared her experience on Instagram, posting a picture of her television screen with the show playing.

Triptii expressed her nostalgia, writing, "It's that kind of night.. Me.. Bulbbul and a little nostalgia." She also shared an image of the moon, commenting on the "after effects of watching Bulbbul." Set in the 1880s Bengal presidency, the series follows the journey of a child bride who grows into an enigmatic woman ruling over her household, hiding a painful past as supernatural murders plague her village.

Since her breakout role in "Bulbbul", Triptii Dimri has gained critical recognition and popularity, starring in films like the top-grossing action movies "Animal", "Bad Newz", and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3". Last month, the actress also welcomed a new furry family member, a dog named Lychee, sharing adorable photos and videos of their bonding.

Triptii's next project is the upcoming gangster drama "O' Romeo", co-starring Shahid Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda. Set in the 1990s Mumbai underworld, the high-octane action thriller is a love story directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, marking the fourth collaboration between Shahid and the acclaimed filmmaker.
