In a major event last week, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the first-ever property named after him. The 56-story "Shahrukhz Danube" tower is located in Dubai and features approximately 450 sq ft of premium office space.
During the launch, SRK expressed his delight, saying his mother would have been proud. He also shared a heartwarming story about the Danube founder's wife, who has been unwell, as the inspiration behind his decision to lend his name to the project.
True to form, the superstar entertained the guests with his signature wit and Bollywood flair. He recreated iconic moments from his films "Om Shanti Om" and "Don," teaching the Danube founder his famous open-arm romantic pose and "Don" walk.
The Shahrukhz Danube tower is expected to be completed within the next three to four years. It will feature a statue of Shah Rukh at the entrance, allowing visitors to take photos. Danube plans to expand this tower concept to other cities as well.
SRK's next project is the film "King," co-starring Deepika Padukone, his daughter Suhana Khan, and others. His production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, has also backed the Netflix series "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," marking his son Aryan Khan's directorial debut.
