Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, 89, was discharged from Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning after undergoing treatment for more than a week. According to the hospital, Dharmendra will continue his recovery at home.

As the country prays for Dharmendra's good health, an old story about the film veteran's international popularity has resurfaced. It involves a rather unexpected admirer - former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Dharmendra, fondly known as the "He-Man of Bollywood," has long been a beloved figure not only in India but also abroad. On his way back to Pakistan by road, Sharif happened to pass by Dharmendra's residence. Upon seeing the house, he stopped his car and told his family, "Look, this is Dharmendra's house." The actor was deeply touched by this moment.

Dharmendra's daughter Esha Deol has reassured fans that her father is "stable and recovering," while Hema Malini has dismissed the rumors circulating online. The family has issued a statement requesting the media and public to respect Dharmendra's privacy during this time and to continue praying for his good health and long life.
