The film, produced by Desi Movies Factory, has emerged as a major box office success, becoming Rane's highest-grossing movie of all time.
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has also gained the super-hit verdict with impressive profits. However, the pace of its earnings has slowed down in the third week of its theatrical run, facing competition from other releases like Thamma and Kantara Chapter 1. The upcoming release of De De Pyaar De 2 will also add to the competition starting tomorrow.
On day 23, the film added 55 lakhs to its kitty, witnessing a 26.6% drop compared to the previous day. Its gross earnings have now reached 98.62 crores, including taxes. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has surpassed every single Milap Zaveri directorial at the Indian box office, except one - Satyameva Jayate, which concluded its domestic lifetime at 89.05 crores. With 5.47 crores more to go, the romantic drama is chasing Zaveri's #1 grosser to claim the top spot.
