Among the mourners were actor Arbaaz Khan, who was seen dressed in an all-white outfit, and singer Mika Singh, who also wore a white shirt and beige pants. Television actor Kushal Tandon, who looked visibly bereaved, was present in an all-white ensemble. Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra, dressed in a simple white shirt and blue jeans, was seen meeting Dheer's son Nikitin Dheer and offering condolences to the grieving family.
Nikitin Dheer, an actor himself, had worked with Sidharth Malhotra in the movie Shershaah. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also attended the funeral to pay his last respects to the late actor. Pankaj Dheer is survived by his wife Aneeta, his actor son Nikitin, and actress daughter-in-law Kratika Sengar.
